EFFECT OF AN
INSUFFICIENT MAGNETIC FIELD ON LIVING ORGANISMS
Rhythmical
variations in the intensity of the earth’s electromagnetic field and the
resulting influence on man and the evolution of all living things - animal and
vegetable - is thus of enormous importance. In fact, according to Professor
Nakagawa, author of numerous works on magnetotherapy, alterations to the
earth’s magnetic field (and, above all, its deficiency) can lead to “weak
electromagnetic field syndrome” (e.g. caused by electromagnetic pollution).
The symptoms of that syndrome may be:
• Stiffness of the neck, shoulders and back, with neck problems, chest pains
and lumbago.
• Migraine (as one cerebral hemisphere is electropositive and the other
electronegative) accompanied by nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
• Muscular hypotonia with chronic constipation and physical asthenia.
• Anxiety, depression and insomnia.
• Cardiac arrhythmia and proiosystolia.
• Hormone imbalances (or glandular disturbances).
All this has been
clarified by research carried out on fields generated by permanent, artificial
magnets, done in the 1960s: these research programs demonstrated the existence
of two main influences on biological and cellular systems. Firstly, magnetic
fields aid secretion of the cerebral neurotransmitters, producing, for example,
an analgesic effect (because of increased endorphin output); secondly, the
magnetic field acts on the autonomous nervous system, stimulating the
parasympathetic system and so giving rise to a sedative and anti-stress effect.
At this point then, given the ongoing, albeit very gradual, weakening of the
Earth’s magnetic field, the progressive slowdown in the speed at which the
Earth rotates about its own axis (as verified in the 1990s by the American
geo-biologist Greg Braden), the concurrent increase in the terrestrial Shuman
waves (waves in the Earth’s field, which have increased from a rhythm of 7.5
Hz to approximately 8.8 Hz) and the electro-magnetic pollution that is now
widespread in industrialised societies it soon becomes necessary to speak of the
beneficial biological effects of the magnetization of water, the substance that
makes up 65-70% of all living organisms.
